Ellen, you were the first to greet me at UWEC (besides Tom Prior’s inevitable “good morning, sunshine!” and I remember talking to my dad about my first day as a transfer, telling him with confidence that (because of your warm welcome) “I chose the right place.” I remember you using my ID down on water street which was hilarious because I was almost a foot taller and younger than you...But most of all I remember you as one of the kindest, most genuine souls...so many memories that made us laugh...And although I can only weep for your loss now in this moment, in time, I will always remember the laughter more. Love you dear friend 💕
