I've known Carl since the late 80s. He was always nice and welcoming to me when I visited his home. Every time he answered the door it was as if he hadn't seen me in years. He never actually aged, as he was always up for a good laugh, always looked young for his age, in a good mood, worked hard, kept busy all the time. His favorite NBA player was Kurt Rambis, whom he'd lovingly call "Rambo!" I laughed about it every time then, and still chuckle about it every once in a while now. I'm glad I have good memories of Carl, and remember him well...
