Jim, we had so many great memories, I just don't know which one to mention. Steve, Kathy and I will never forget our dinner at Paisans. We had talked you into having a Porta salad which you had never had, and when you took a bite of that salad, we can still see the sparkle in yours eyes and the smile on your face, you LOVED it!!!! You said you had never had a salad taste so good. Your plate was licked clean. We sure had a good time that night and all the other nights we spent together. I remember on your 80th birthday, we surprised you at the Avenue Bar with a HUGE chocolate cake (your favorite) and it was absolutely delicious. You shared a piece with all of us including all your friends and waitresses, you loved all of them at the Avenue, and they loved you and Kathy!! And as big as that cake was, you still took half of it home and finished every bit. Have more loving memories of you Jim but they wouldn't all fit on this page. You have a delightful family and we will all miss you dearly, and will never forget your contagious smile and your bright personality. Love you Jim. Julie and Steve

Kathy, So sorry for your loss. I remember your Dad always welcoming your friends. I remember both of your parents fondly. I hope as time goes by, the profound grief is lessened by warm memories. In sympathy, Gloria Pofahl-Pangman
