My family and I had the pleasure of living most or all of our lives across the street from the Kopp family. Shirley was a friend and lived a life of service for others asking little or nothing in return but respect and gratitude from we who benefitted from her generosity. She was a great wife, mother, grandmother, and neighbor. She had a passion for helping others as an EMT and child care provider amongst many other things. She will be remembered forever as a selfless giver of her time and grace. We are richer for having Shirley in our lives. May God's promise of eternal life comfort us all as we mourn her passing. With tears in my eyes, David Lunde

We are so sorry for your loss Duane and family, Charlie and i had some great times together, i will always remember our trip we took to Virginia, and Charlie working with me at my refinishing shop, but one of the most memorable was the day we went to lunch and got a tattoo, we were young and crazy then. She stayed with me when Tom went fishing in Canada and she got up at 5 AM to make a school treat that i forgot about, cupcakes for a birthday treat, they were beautiful and were done in time to get on the school bus. Charlie was a great friend to everyone. She will be missed.. ❤

We are so sorry Duane, Jennifer, Ashley and all of Charlie's family for your loss. Charlie was a loving and generous person. I don't know how long before I met Pat that she was doing his sewing and mending but she has done it for the 22 years that I have known him. I could not be more grateful for that act of kindness. She would never take any money from me and yet it is the one thing I dreaded more than anything. She loved her family and her life was centered on service to them and her community. Rest in peace sweet Charlie, you will forever be in our hearts.

Duane, Marjie and I are really very sorry for your loss of Charlie. I'm also sorry I haven't been more of a cousin. Maybe...if you are somehow able to get through all this with a small bit of peace, we can meet up sometime and catch up on all the years that have gone by...Jim too. I talked to your mom the other night and although the circumstances were all wrong, it was very nice to connect again. I am hoping to get there on Tuesday. I'll likely see you then.
