Beverly Jean Cramer

MADISON - Beverly J. “Bev” Cramer, age 81, passed away on Wednesday, September 23, 2026, at Talamore Senior Living due to complications from a long illness. Bev was born in 1945, the daughter of Myron and Dorothea Cramer, who predeceased her. She is survived by life-long friends, sisters Sharon and Nona Hill; and cousins, William Dvorak and Mary Ellen Yarwood.

Beverly graduated from Madison East High School in 1963, and from the University of Wisconsin in 1968 with a B.B.A. in accounting. She worked 32 years for the State of Wisconsin, until taking early retirement because her mother had become ill and required time-consuming care.

Bev enjoyed gardening, reading mysteries, playing golf, and caring for her pets, who she looked forward to seeing again in the afterlife.

Per Bev’s request, there will be no services.
