I graduated from Methodist Hospital School of Nursing several years after Alma. I remember working with her for many years after that time. She was a wonderful mentor to younger nurses. She had genuine grace and wisdom to deal with multiple circumstances in a hospital setting. Alma had a kindness and composure that helped her patients endure untold medical situations. Beyond that she was also a strong mentor and role model to her co workers. I benefitted from her wisdom and friendship. My deepest sympatny to her family

Spaanem Avenue Mamas. They gave so much and asked so little. Everyone was family and always will be. Alma you will be missed by all your family. Such a kind sweet heart.

What I remember most about my Grandmother was her poised and dignified disposition. Which I feel was greatly reflected in the way she spoke, the delicacy in which she wrote and the precision of the fancy shoes she picked out!💖 She was a very intelligent woman and I have great respect for the wisdom and stories she shared with me through her many cards and letters. I will miss her dearly 🙏🏽

My deepest sympathies to Glen and Alma’s family in the passing of this lovely lady. Two of my fondest memories of Alma are the joint Birthday celebrations with her sisters-in-law Betty Hanusa and Shirley Buss at Quivey’s Grove in December. And the time playing cards at Alma and Glen’s home with Betty Hanusa also there. Rest In Peace Dear Alma. Pat Maniaci
