Played high school and college football with Chung. Nobody ever displayed more energy or enthusiasm for the sport than he did. In true Greg Hoffman fashion, he battled Alzheimer’s courageously, never gave up and took the fight into overtime, where the game clock simply ran out of time. Rest In Peace my friend. Tim Healy

Chung was a friend since childhood. Tom Mucks, Ron Buss and I did so much together over the years. Also known to get into a bit of trouble that drove our parents crazy. Chung always made me laugh. Especially when he wore his white Elvis outfit to Badger football games. Remember looking at the pictures he had in his Care Center room. Brought back great memories.

This past summer Chung's name came up frequently at our 50th East H.S. graduation, classmates asking how Greg was, along with who was involved in painting the, Class 69 "PIE" on the towers.. I referred them to B... Anytime our paths crossed Chung would always greet you with a big smile, a strong handshake, he would always ask, " how you were doing.". My two memories we're: we went to Devils Lake (our senior year)in his Green Chevy, 4 of us along with two duffles full of you know what.. Then seeing his Green car jet along the roadway after my parents had left the cottage and Chung pulls up and unloads 4 barrels of beer. Greg's voice will go on in our Memories what a Leader, what a Great Guy..
