My heart goes out to Rene, Justin, Michelle, Matt and the rest of Rita's family. Rita was so warm and caring. I always considered her a mother-figure in my life, as my own mother passed away when I was a baby. Rita always checked up on my family, inviting us to her family holiday meals or even just over to see her newest garden addition. I was so lucky to have her attend my graduation and wedding. She always looked out for us, especially for my father, a grieving widow with 3 young children in tow. This woman was truly a shining light in my life and I could see how much she touched others. She will be dearly missed.
