My dear and precious cousin. Debbie was my childhood playmate, a bridesmaid in my wedding and I even had my second son on her birthday (this was a God thing!) but how cool was that! We had fun times, great lunches and lovely times sitting on her pier deck enjoying the peace. She took me jet skiing for the first time in my life. I could go on and on...she was unique, fun, loving and intelligent. She took teasing well and had a great sense of humor. Debbie took a piece of my heart with her and she'll be forever cherished in my memory. Linda Beaudette

I didn't know Debbie well, we live so far apart. I recall a few times that my Mother and I went to Madison to visit family and Debbie was this tall slender girl with beautiful blonde hair. She reminded me of a model. Oh how I wanted to be tall and thin like her. She'd probably get a real kick out of hearing that , considering I'm 4 ft. 10in tall and had dark brown hair. The absolutely opposite of her. We both liked finding out about family history. I wish I had gotten to know her better. I am so sorry that I can't make it to the funeral, but you all will be in my prayers. Nancy Benninger Trotter

From: Mary and Ken Rouse To: Family of Deb Nesseth Please accept our heartfelt condolences upon Deb’s death. We met her two years ago through her next door neighbor, Roger, who passed away in March at age 82. He was a beloved and longtime friend of our family with a unique personality.. Prior to his death, she was always kind and caring toward him. They shared a love of companion animals and had the highest standards of care for them. Upon his death, she looked after his aging cat named Risqué until other arrangements could be made. ( And, Kent, both of you looked out and after Roger, especially during his decline the last couple of years. Would that everyone could be as considerate and helpful to their neighbors as you were! ) We hope you will find many ways to celebrate Deb’s life through stories, pictures and memorials. We feel privileged to have known her even for a relatively short time.
