MADISON - Linda Peterson, age 69, of Madison, passed away on Friday, August 30, 2019 at Agrace HospiceCare. She was born on October 27, 1949, in Madison, the daughter of Elmer Heimann and Helen Schoten Braun. She married Alfred Peterson on July 28, 1973 at Trinity Lutheran Church. Linda and Al just celebrated 46 years of marriage and 50 years of being together. Linda retired from Dane County after ten years of service at the Court House. Prior to that, she worked as a waitress and cook for many years. Linda was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister. She was a very strong and spirited woman who loved her family dearly. You never had to wonder what Linda was thinking. Linda is survived by her husband, Al; step-father, Duane Braun; four sons, Edward, ODean, and Steven Heimann, and Lawrence Peterson; sister, Vickie Ellickson; three brothers, Mike, Dennis, and Lloyd Heimann; Brother in law, Bruce Peterson; Sister in law, Sharon Lehmann; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her father, Elmer Heimann and mother Helen Braun; three brothers, Roger and Jack Seamans and Bill Heimann; and sister, Dixie Wills. Linda was a great person to me and my family!!! She was a very special person and our condolences to her family.she is raising hell with mom up in heaven .RIP linda.we will miss her very much.
