A kind, generous ,patient man. I still remember the smell of his pipe tobacco and talking with him about books we had both read. He had a great eye for antiques and could fix a car. A funny story was when he got busted for shooting a squirrel off his bird feeder in Monona! Luckily he just got a warning. Nice picture of him when he was young. Loren H

My sympathy to the family. Bob & Jean lived next door to me in Monona. We had many games of bridge together. We would go to the Elks on Friday afternoon & play bridge until it was time to eat and then after dinner play some more bridge.
