I grew up with the Krause family, a little kid tag along who was always at their home. My dad passed away so Don walked me down the isle ag my wedding a little over 2 years ago. See photos on that tab. He will be missed. Laurie Maloney-Bartz

My prayers are with Don's family. Don was my landlord for a while as well as a friend and my young son had gotten hurt at the house we were renting. That sweet man took that little guy to the ER to make sure he was cared for cause he was with Don outside and stepped on a nail. I was not aware of the issue until Don told me the next day and I thanked him for taking care of my little one. We have lost another good friend and he will be missed by many.

"Some people spend an entire lifetime wondering if they made a difference in this world. Marines don't have that problem." . . . President Ronald Reagan . . .
A little-known battle of the still-unresolved Korean War took place on a remote hill dubbed 'Boulder City' by the Marines. Don Krause fought there and we watched each other's backs and have been comrades-at-arms ever since that day in July of 1953. The cease-fire was signed only a few hours later. Don Krause was instrumental in securing freedom, peace and security for many millions of citizens of Souyh Korea. He made a difference in this world.

Don was a strong faith based husband, dad, and grandfather who loved a good story or joke. He cared for his family very deeply. He will be dearly missed. Many cards will be played in heaven. Love, The Bennetts
