Ronald Gehring

I for one, am going to miss him. We skied the Alps. The slopes in Colorado. All the hills in Wisconsin. We toured Central Europe. Rafted the Wolf River, camped out, drank good wine Laughed and told jokes. I first met Ron through a friend in the Skilaufer Ski Club. I reached out to shake his hand, and he stuck a Manhattan in my hand. Immediate friendship. Our treasured pal Ron will be greatly missed. Harriet, Ron’s obituary was spot on! He was such a fun and welcoming person, always ready with a great story, drinks, cards and the “trump cube”. He is gone too soon, we didn’t get enough. Love and tears from Drummond Island. Ceci and Laura
