Obituary
VERONA - Florede A. “Freda” Goth, age 92, of Verona, passed away on Sunday, Feb. 6, 2022, at St. Mary's Care Center. She was born on June 25, 1929, in Black Earth, the daughter of Hubert and Norma (Kahl) Kelter.
Florede graduated from Black Earth High School in 1946. She married Sheldon Goth on Nov. 10, 1951. Florede worked in food service for Edgewood College.
Florede was an avid Packers and Brewers fan. She enjoyed a glass of Ruby Lady Wine and liked going to Ho-Chunk Casino. Florede had a general love for music and played both the piano and accordion. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family.
Florede is survived by her three daughters, Tracie (Willy) Hutter, Lisa (John) Hogan and Shelley Liegel; two sons, Bruce (Patty) Goth and Mike (Linda) Goth; eight grandchildren, Kristen (Josh) Dalton, Kara (Matt Yanke) Hutter, Pamela (Travis) Mueller, JJ Hogan, Annie "Nance" Goth, William (Selene) Goth, Kenny Goth and Kevin Goth; five sisters, Lois Ballweg, Victoria Brodt, Gloria (Tom) Hefty, Joyce (Dale) Brager and Audrey Timmons; two brothers, Clem (Paula) Kelter and Virgil (Donna) Kelter; two sisters-in-law, Margaret Kelter and Angie Goth; and three brothers-in-law, Delmar Scharnhorst, Gary Goth and Howard Martin.
She was preceded in death by husband, Sheldon; parents; three sisters, Lucy Burns, Dixie Statz and Margie Fass; and brother, Lee Kelter.
A funeral service was held at GUNDERSON CAMACHO MOUNT HOREB FUNERAL AND CREMATION CARE, 500 N. Eighth St., Mount Horeb, at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 10, 2022. Burial was held at Oak Hill Cemetery in Black Earth. Online condolences may be made at www.gundersonfh.com.
