It will be the little things that we will remember, the quiet moments, the smiles, the laughter. And although it may seem hard right now, it will be the memories that we all cherish that will get us through., all our love - Schmidt’s Auto Inc.

I will remember the frog suit for Carnival, the help with reading English, the drawing, the time we spent while I watched you put on your makeup in the morning. I will also remember when you cried because your mother had died, or how you were worried about me when Dad died. All those moments, no--all of the moments--good and bad, I will cherish. For what is life if you can't live both the UPS and DOWNS. With love, Your Son.

Joanne's aspirations led her to experience the many flavors of the world allowing her to spread her wings from the Green Bush to travel far and wide. After her husband’s death, she settled back in Madison, perhaps in a little more befitting manner. Underneath her often firm exterior lay a generous soul who lent a helping hand to her family in times of need. I would like to imagine she has joined her parents, her two brothers, her nephew (all who left this earth far too early) – as well as other distant relatives somewhere in the universe, gently guiding us through our remaining journey on earth
