Mr. Norsetter was a good guy with me, sad to hear he passed. Always let me in the house and opened his fridge to me. I'll be thinking about the good times I spent with Kyle growing up by the bay, making noise in the basement playing hockey and then Mr. Norsetter would yell at us to turn the music down when Kyle bought those big speakers lol And shaking his hand was like a baseball mit. My condolences and thoughts will be with the family.

I am heartbroken. Phil taught me how to rig my fishing pole to catch bass when I lived at a little house with my girls on the yaharra river. I was so thankful for his acceptance of the hard choices I made. He was like a brother to me and I will miss him forever

Phil was one of the first kids I met when moving to the Franklin neighborhood.
He slyly told me that the key to learning to ice skate was to allow to kids pull you with their hockey sticks around the rink without letting go...
I credit him with making me the hockey player I later became because I had never skated before, but later played Jumior Bs with Canadiens and skated on varsity at West High School.
Thanks Phil, you're whit and blue collar wisdom will be sorely missed.
