Friday afternoons at work will not be the same without Carol Jean's phone calls! I will miss her fiery spirit and desire for educating everyone on the True Faith and what it means to be Catholic. Although I never met Carol Jean in person, I know that she loved her faith dearly - and knew her faith - and was the best evangelizer I've ever spoken with about Catholicism! May you finally be at peace, Carol Jean, and see our loving Lord face-to-face in the New Jerusalem :) Your loving sister in Christ, Becca

I'm sorry to be doing this online but I had a recent accident being hit by a truck and am in rehab. I LOVED Carol Jean's smile and upbeat attitude. My favorite memory of her is calling me the "newspaper lady" when we used to own the Lodi Enterprise. I don't know what it was but I just had a special connection with her. We will be planting daffodils for Carol Jean in the fall. That way we can remember all the wonderful things she had to offer each spring after a long winter. So very sorry for your loss, In sympathy, Jan Haupt
