My favorite memory with Chris is way back in high school or just after. I was at a friends house and we were watching Children of the Corn. Chris and his friend Darren came over but instead of k ocking o. The door, they banged on the front window like no tomorrow. I still cant watch that movie and everytime it ever comes up I think of Chris.

Chris was one of the most loyal friends a person could have. He valued friendship, and would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it. We used to work on cars and hot rod them back in the day at his mom’s house when we were young. Many fun times running around. And we would go for coffee, have a few smokes at country kitchen and talk and solve all the world’s problems many late nights back then. He made his dream come true by opening up his own shop fixing cars. Fun times. Chris, fix up the old Pontiac firebird, and cruise around in heaven, And when I see smoke in the sky, I know you are just doing a few burnouts and smoking the tires. Greg Bartels
