Henrietta was the quintessential mother, grandmother, friend, and caring human being. Her welcoming smile and laughter pierce directly to your heart upon arrival at her door. You feel immediately at home as you step into the house; the hug and the whiff from the kitchen put you at ease. A kind soul, a joyful company and a marvelous cook, Henrietta made 404 West Dean a heaven of a place. I will never forget the Thanksgiving dinners, the Sunday Chili, the Christmas goodies, and the beautiful sense of humor of both Henrietta and Fred. What makes her loss so hard is that Henrietta was so grounded and so strong pulling family and friends together in a powerful web of energy and love. I had no doubt that she will always be there for all of us.
I will miss dearly Henrietta, and you will be in my heart every day as long as I live. Rest in Peace.

I have always remembered Mrs Volker from school, one of the nicest "lunch ladies", which imprinted her into my minds eye and heart. I'm so sorry to know of her passing. Extending my sincerest condolences. Light and Love to you all, Peggy Barden

Susan, Kim, Michael and Sean, I’m so sorry for your loss. I have lots of fond memories of your mom. Whenever the Mowrey clan reminisces about our trips to Wisconsin we always talk about your mom and dad. Your mom had such a genuine smile and was always welcoming. I’ll be remembering all of you in my prayers.
