Dear Sue and family: I graduated with Don in 1957 and my husband, Richard, was Don's playmate, classmate in Monte Catholic School, altar boys together and shared many happy times growing up in Montevideo, also attended 10 yrs of school days together in Monte. It was always fun to see and visit with you both at our class reunions...He will be missed.....Mary Ann (Sletten) and Richard Jensen

Don was a favorite of my friends' dads. Always smiling and singing Beatles/Buddy Holly/etc. tunes. He'd often laugh at (or at least smirk) at our teen-aged humor and awkwardness. Rightly or wrongly (I'm betting on the former) his looks sent me the message of "been there, done that". Don was truly a great husband, father, and grandpa. I am very fortunate to have known him. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
