Dear June and family...sending prayers for comfort and lasting wonderful memories. I have such great memories of the fun we had at Farmington and Walnut Creek. The two of you were always great to golf and enjoy the club together. I often think about those special times...hope you will/do too. Suzie Davies

Your dad always had kind words, even when I should have been scolded. Don't know if you remember this Susan, but it is like locked into my memory. Late one summer night I dropped you off after doing whatever we did in those days involving alcohol. Driving home I missed a construction sign and my car, my parents car, veered off the road, stuck in mud. A very nice couple picked me up, and as I was only a half a mile from your house, drove me there seeking help. I sobered. It was late. I knocked. The porch light came on, and there was your dad, your mom looking over his right shoulder and you at his left. I told him my dilemma and without a beat he asked me if I was hurt. "No sir". He drove me to my shameful act and muscled my car, my parents car, out of the mud. He held the door for me as I got in and said, "drive careful, Earnie". I thought the world of your dad.
