Obituary
STOUGHTON - David A. Tiedt, age 67, of Stoughton, passed away on Wednesday, May 25, 2022, at St. Mary's Hospital in Madison. He was born on Dec. 9, 1954, in Madison, the son of Earl and Margaret (Knudsen) Tiedt.
David was happily married to Darcy Will for 38 years and devoted his life to caring for his beloved wife and their pets. He worked as a candy maker for Wisconsin Cheeseman for most of his working life.
David enjoyed traveling with Darcy, listening to music, baking, and dinners out with friends. He was a kind and gentle person who enjoyed spending time with family, friends, and neighbors.
David is survived by his three sisters, Merri Lynn (Yino Sanchez) Tiedt, Susan (Don) Jacobson and Judy (Vic) Yonash; six brothers, Greg (Janet Flynn) Tiedt, Bob (Sue) Tiedt, Steve (Sandy) Tiedt, Brian Tiedt, Mark (Jackie Malliet) Tiedt and Richard Tiedt; and brother-in-law, Scott (Yvonne) Rosenthal. In addition, he is survived by many nieces and nephews and their families. He is also survived by caring friend Jacqueline.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Darcy; parents, Earl and Margaret Tiedt; and parents-in-law, Roy and Carol Rosenthal.
A visitation will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL AND CREMATION CARE, 5203 Monona Drive, Madison, from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. on Friday, June 10, 2022.
