My sympathies go to all of Betsy's family. She was such a special person and a friend that is leaving a lot of wonderful memories but now a hole in my heart. I did get to see and be with her a little while ago and it was great reminiscing about the fun we all had while looking at pictures that I had of all her family and us.. I will always hold those memories close to my heart and remember her as one of the kindest and dearest friends I could have had. Our funny and silly moments will always be dear to me and have always given me reasons to smile. Missing you!

Mary Jane & Roger Bean Our sympathies to Dave Dopp and all of the Rota families . Our memories of Betsy are wonderful and varied, Betsy and I grew up in the Lake Edge family at church, school and the neighborhood. Family gatherings, Sunday school in the parsonage basement, music, camping--so many wonderful times. We lost touch for many years and then found each other again through Dave working with Roger and one night--surprise--there we were-- together again. We continued to see each other at work gatherings and many fun get togethers after retirement. I can hear her wonderful laugh and see her smile. A dear and kind friend. You will be missed. Peace my dear.

Betsy was very dear to me! She and her Dad attended our church regularly—Orchard Ridge United Church of Christ, Madison. We laughed together, cried together, and prayed together. I’ll miss her! Rev. Ken Pennings

Betsy was a warm, caring spirit who I met while working on stained glass. Her artistic and fun talents where amazing. It was great fun collaborating on ideas with her. She really enjoyed making art for her family. She was a wonderful person!
