It was an honor and privilege for me to play next to Bruce in "All That Jazz" big band for quite a few years. Not only an outstanding player but so much jazz knowledge that he shared with me and the band. I'm forever grateful. I'd like to think that Heaven is swinging a little more with Bruce! My prayers to his family and friends. Sam Robinson, Waunakee

Growing up swimming with the Wencels swimming, I got to know Bruce and always loved his spirit and enthusiasm. Deepest Sympathy to my good friends, Steve, Tom and Bruce!

Bruce was my technical instructor at Tyrol Basin and I learned a lot of skills from him. He was one of the most elegant skiiers I ever saw! I saw him play sax this winter and he was superb! He played multiple sax solos and was a standout. He used to play football with my uncle and sax in my dad's band back in the big band era. He will be greatly missed! I got a chance to learn a lot about my family from him.

There is one more Cardinal up there in Heaven singing in perfect four part harmony, plus a good display of showmanship! Godspeed, Bruce, to join "that old quartet." Fondly, the Liscum family.

Bruce was one of many mentors that helped a very young marketing teacher find his way in Sales and Marketing Executives of Madison. As SME chapter president, Bruce helped me publish a monthly newsletter publicizing upcoming meetings, field trips, and events. He not only was a excellent business executive, but an inspiring leader to SME members and local high school marketing (DECA) students. We cherish his memory and his many contributions.
