We remember our travels to the Southwest with Bob and Sheila; we traveled by car, rather than fly, and Bob always had to do the driving. Most importantly, Sheila had to pack plenty of sweets for the road - TWINKIES were very important to have along! Whenever I see Twinkies in the grocery store I think of Bob! One favorite stop, on our way to New Mexico, was the Laguna Pueblo. We were treated to a personal tour of the old church there; what an inspiring story of its construction - particularly the ceiling! We still put the hand- painted Christmas ornament we purchased that day on our tree. Nice memory of friends and history of the Pueblo! Let’s not forget the time that Bob and Ray were walking on our pier, both carrying the cooler from the pontoon to the house; both of them fell in the water, when Ray tried to catch a falling gas can balancing on top of the cooler - why make two trips! Definitely unskilled movers! 🤗 Not to worry, all beer bottles were recovered! Warmest regards to our dear friend Sheila. She deserves a round of applause for her perseverance during Bob’s last few years, while she continued to work full time and coordinate his home-care! God bless her for her dedication. We hope you are able to regroup and rest with the happy memories of your earlier life together. We love you Sheila - especially in the black felt cowgirl hat you picked up on one of our Santa Fe trips. Warmest Regards, Ray and Suzanne Chrisler
