To my dear friend of 45 years, I will miss you but will never forget all the fabulous times we had together with Ken and the girls. The canoeing, camping and hiking were some of my fondest memories. Dear Family of Linda Apple, I am truly saddened by the word of Linda's passing. Gratefully Linda interviewed me and hired me as a Administrative Assistant at Disability Rights Wisconsin and was my supervisor for 10 years until her retirement. She was always professional, organized, positively direct and on the go. We couldn't keep up! She taught me so much and appreciate all of it. I remember she spoke excitedly of her daughters and grandchildren. All my love and prayers Lisa Jameson

I was the Executive Director at Disability Rights Wisconsin when we hired Linda Apple to be the Office Manager for our headquarters in Madison. I liked her the first time I met her. And I knew instinctively that she would be the kind of person who would take on projects and assignments and quickly dispatch them with ease. She was always gracious and welcoming to her colleagues, to our Board of Directors, and to anyone visiting our offices. Everyone liked her. I still remember what she told me in her job interview over 30 years ago: "I don't like job-hunting. I just want to find a good job and stay there a long time". That sounded good to me, and that's exactly what she did. I'll miss her.

I was Linda’s supervisor for 31 years at Disability Rights Wisconsin. All of us depended on Linda for a myriad of tasks. In all the time we worked together she handled all the staff and Board member requests with grace and good heartedness. I never once saw her decline a request from staff in any of the three DRW offices. She had contact with almost every one of the 60 staff (total when she retired) and all liked her. Personally Linda and I kept in touch after we both retired ... having lunch, taking walks, and talking about our exercise routines. I was very fond of Linda and will miss her. Joan Karan

Linda was a great friend and neighbor to the Lowry family. I loved all the activities we enjoyed together with our families - canoeing on the WI River, boating on Lake Waukesha, cross country skiing and many other outings, picnics, dinners. Her love for her family was always front and center and they have many wonderful memories to treasure.

I only knew Linda for a short time, yet I was blessed to have known her. Our backyards were close and the first time I met her I was out gardening. She welcomed me to the neighborhood and we would go for walks. I teach yoga at our community and Linda attended up until she moved. She had such a gentle spirit. I pray that her family and friends will find comfort from the Holy Spirit and know the Linda will always be close to her loved ones watching over them until they meet again.
Blessings
