Ruth Ann Solum

I worked with Ruth at the Department of Regulation and Licensing in the early 70’s. We were all so very young and in our early years of state employment. Ruth was always energetic, enthusiastic, fast moving, in good humor and dedicated to hard work and her religion. I have thought of her over the years and of different things that happened at R&L. Rest in peace Ruth!

I worked with Ruthie at DWD. Nice lady. Always had a smile and on the go somewhere. My condolences.

I knew Ruth and her family since very early childhood. Ruth and her older sister and I were good friends growing up. When we became adults and went our separate ways, Ruthie and I always kept track of each other. We almost always managed to get together when I came back to Wisconsin for visits. We enjoyed good times together. She was a good pianist, and whenever possible we sat down at a piano to sing. I thank the Lord for the friendship we shared.
