OREGON-Carol A. Schroeder, age 74, of Oregon, passed away on Monday, April 8, 2019, at Agrace HospiceCare. She was born on Aug. 30, 1944, the daughter of Joseph and Bernice Badenna. Carol is survived by her husband, Al and their loving family. In keeping with her wishes, no services will be held.

Carol you will be missed by all. I remember fondly the days that we would spend cooking together. I am also thankful that you passed down all your family recipes to me. I will miss seeing your face across the street. To your family I would like you to know that my heart is with you.

It was my privilege to meet Carol and family members near the end of her life. The devotion of her family was beautifully evident and we had some warm and caring conversations about her beautifully crocheted blankets and her beloved dogs. My deepest condolences to you all.

I first met Carol 30 years ago. She was the mother of my close friend Kari. Although it has been many years since I've seen her I remember Carol as always showing kindness and compassion,, while physically and mentally, she was as strong as they come. She worked in construction and with just the help on one other, person, she completely re-roofed my first home. Very impressive lady!
