Mary E. Pitz

I worked with Mary for many years in the surgery at UW hospital. She was a dedicated nurse who took care of many patients as they underwent open heart surgery. She was very proud of her children and devoted to her family. I was so glad to know Mary. I know she will be missed.

She was a Mother, Nurse, care taker, friend and a lady with a big heart. She was my Mother and I was proud to call her that and to have been able to spend time with her. She loved working as a Nurse and felt her UW Hospital coworkers were family as well. I will miss her a lot but know she is now getting to enjoy seeing those golden retrievers she loved so much.......miss you to the Moon and beyond Mom...enjoy this next part of your life.

Mary was such a pleasure to work with !! Always took very good care of her patients!! I also very much enjoyed her talking about her goldens!! Rest in Peace Mary!!
