Jonell Annalisa Traore

FITCHBURG-Jonell Annalisa Traore, age 45, of Fitchburg, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, April 1, 2019. She was born on June 6, 1973, in Madison, the daughter of Eddie Thomas and Barbara (Ward) Ring. Jonell graduated from West High School. she enjoyed reading books, taking baths, and knitting for her family members and countless friends she held close to her. She enjoyed watching movies with her children and talking the entire time. Her children were more important to her than anything and she claimed to have four degrees in Darien, Haven, Paul and Noah. More than anything Jonell enjoyed helping others and putting their comforts above her own. She was an amazing woman whose generosity, intelligence, and company will be greatly missed and forever remembered. Jonell is survived by her children, Darien Power, Haven Traore, Paul Traore, and Noah Stanford; mother, Barbara Ring; father, Eddie (Heather) Thomas; brother, Michael; sisters, Rachel, Monica, Alisa and Jessica; and many others. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Celia Stanford. A memorial service will be held at HO-CHUNK NATION TEEJOB HOCIRA, 4724 Tradewinds Parkway, Madison, from 2 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Saturday, April 6, 2019. Memorials may be made to the family.
