Jackie, Brian and I are both so sorry to hear of your loss. At the same time, we're glad you got to enjoy his presence and influence for as long as you did. His was a long life, well-lived, and he will be missed. At the same time, he will be reunited with your mother in loving spirit forever, and that can be some consolation. We hope you all can share the next few days with those who loved and knew him well, and in telling stories that will live far into the future.

Gene and Norma were such supports for us while Gloria Jean was a member at St Andrew and I was a member elsewhere. They included us together as part of the church family. In more recent years Gene has routinely been in touch by email with us, sending humorous or thoughtful messages, always closing with a kind word to remind us of the friendship we shared. We truly thank God for bringing Gene and Norma into our lives. Phil and Gloria Jean Hubble
