We send our sincere condolences to the family. Butch and I feel so blessed to have been part of the Charleston crew last October and had the opportunity to finally meet our Hero, Larry and his family. My Uncle was a GIF soldier KIA during Market Garden. Larry most heartily accepted me as his honorary niece! Oh what a happy day for me! While we were there, one morning at breakfast he told me I was his favorite niece! ❤️ I was one lucky lady! The parting while he was in the car, I will never forget his beautiful sparkling eyes and the warm smile he gave me. I never dreamed at the time, that would be my last smile. I love my Uncle Larry and I will never forget him. He’s my Hero! God bless to the family. Thank you for your service for freedom. Rest In Peace Hero.
