My condolences to Dan's family and friends. Dan was a great guy and I enjoyed my friendship with him since we first met in 1989. We spent many very early mornings jogging together from the UW Rehab Center with a great group of old geezers and a dedicated medical staff. He was a very accomplished scientist and a good person who will be missed by all who knew him. John Senseman

Dan was my "Quinn Circle Dad" and he and my own father Bill, who passed away in 2020 were great friends. All my love to you Mary, Danny and David during this difficult time. He was a great man.

Dan was one of the original founders of Wisconsin Wetlands Association. We at WWA are so sad to hear of his passing. His vision and leadership more than 50 years ago helped set us on our journey protecting the wetlands of Wisconsin! Thank you Dan!
