Bob showed up late at the grill at Sun Rise Bay....seeing that the beer was about to run out he commented....I’ll be right back. He brought Tom, Chris and I a Corona. Then seeing we did not have enough room on the plates for all the cooked food he said....I’ll be right back. He brought back a cookie tray to fit all the burgers, dogs and other cooked things on. I said to Tom, dude you said your das was an SOB growing up....he’s super nice and accommodating. To which Tom replied....that’s not the man that raised me. Jan and I love Bob. What a gentle kind man who alway got emotional during good byes so I am now too. He always hugged me and kissed Jan. An old school gentleman and we would have him no other way. He wanted us to be part of the trip and found us a neighbor to rent from. He included us, as you all have, as family. I’d call that mentoring and the kind of roll model we all need to grow up to be. God rest your soul Bob....you and Marlene are back together.
