Kenneth Martin Detert

Saddened to hear this news but fondly remember spending the summers on the farm creating our own "farm" play area with row crops, plowing the dirt with our play tractors, climbing in the hay loft to build forts (we broke many a bale moving them into position), hiking down the pasture to fish in Tuttle Lake, catching the bullheads that came out of the drain tile in the pasture following the spring thaw. Lots of fond loving memories of a great life experience with my "Cousin"! We will miss his contagious laughter (patterned after his father I might add) and that warm broad smile! Rest in Peace!

I'm very saddened to hear of Ken's passing. We were classmates and close neighbors back in Ceylon. Our 50th class reunion is this coming August and was hoping to see him and meet his wife. He will fondly be remembered. May he rest in peace! Cindy Prull Bullock Class of 1969 Ceylon, Mn.

I worked with Ken at Oscar Mayer on Lunchables. He was a great engineer, always delivered on his promises, and was a good friend. My sincere condolences to Brenda and their daughters. I am so sorry for your loss. Ken was a very special person.
