Lew along with his wife Scottie were our neighbors and very good friends for over ten years in Battlefield Missouri. We enjoyed their company on many occasions throughout the years. Lew was a quite a character who always talked about his time in service to our country. He enjoyed baseball as well as other sports, but baseball was his true passion. With the passing of Lew’s wife Scottie last May, Lew carried on as best as he could. In September Lew was encouraged to move closer to his family in Wisconsin which he did. We were sad to see our friend Lew leave our neighborhood, but certainly understood the concerns expressed by the family and respectfully wished our friend well! We are so sad once again to hear of his passing and wish to offer our thoughts and prayers to Lew’s family and many friends. Newton and Jacqueline Brown

Lew was a wonderful person to be around! I worked with Lew for three years at Lancaster Toyota. He was a very good salesman. The kind of person in sales that was not at all pushy or aggressive. He seemed to always be in a good mood and was good with jokes and stories. I will always consider Lew to have been a good friend of mine as I'm sure all of the others he worked with did also. My best to his family and his many other friends.
