Ted sure made Painted Post Drive a memorable place to grow up. With out his guidance I never would’ve stuck my tongue to the mailbox in January . My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

I got to know Ted better after we graduated from High School. We both worked at American Family Insurance for a period of time. We fished, played softball, basketball and even bowled together. Later in life I had the opportunity to harvest tobacco at the Schieldt farm with him. He was a key member of that operation every year and made it fun. We had lots of good times and many laughs. I will miss his wry sense of humor and his laugh. My condolences to the Hewitt family.

Ted was always up for an adventure with a sly smile and an unforgettable laugh as we grew up together from kindergarten to HS in the LVM Hood. His friends will remember the Hill climb, the "Great Escape" dirt bike ride through the halls of Lafollette and don't forget the "small" get together at his parents house our senior year over the Easter weekend :-) and cruising the square . Those are just a few of the many memory's that come to mind as I remember many great times spent with Ted and the guys we ran with. My Deepest sympathies to his boys and the Hewitt family. Rest well my friend. Jim Zantow

Oh the fun times we had over the years on Brookshire Ln. What a great neighborhood to raise our kids.
From the block parties, the Christmas parties, the caroling, to hanging out in the garage so many great memories with Ted. Our hearts go out to you all. We will truly miss him..

I'll never forget Ted racing down the hallway at Lafollette high school on a Suzuki RM 125. Just in the mood to do it I guess. A group of us( Dan Ampy, Jim Barlow, Scott Anderson...) met many mornings before school started just to talk, Ted always had a lot to say. Always a good time. Didn't see much of him after high school but he sure left a lasting impression. My prayers for Ted's family.
