MONONA-Brett Richard Helgeland, of Monona, passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2018. He was born on Jan. 10, 1983, in Green Bay, the son of Richard Helgeland and Debra Goff. Brett worked as a teacher aide. He was a history buff, enjoyed playing hockey, tennis, guitar, piano, and traveling. Brett is survived by his parents; girlfriend, Hillary Garcia-Mosher, sisters, Jenny (Blake) Elder and Katie (Brandan) Hodges; brother, Aaron (Jecica Job) Kondrasuk; uncle, Mark (Jeanie) Goff: grandmother, Nancy Goff; nephews, Max and Owen Elder; and cousins, Anne, Beau (Allison Kelsey), Markus, Lesley, and Brooks Goff. A Memorial Service will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL AND CREMATION CARE, 5203 Monona Dr., at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 23, 2018. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 1 p.m. until the time of the service on Sunday. Online condolences may be made at www.gundersonfh.com.
