Obituary
MOUNT HOREB - Joanne K. Fischl, age 83, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, March 5, 2026, with her two daughters and sons-in-law by her side. We are comforted knowing she is at peace now in the loving arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. “Do not be grieved, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.” Nehemiah 8:10
Joanne will be dearly missed by her daughters, Vicki Bentley (Bob) and Michelle Wilson (Terry); as well as her three granddaughters, Amber Kmoch (Nick Kmoch) of Mason City, Iowa, Lindsay Wilson (Miriam Bohlman-Kunz) of Pittsburgh, Pa, and Nicole Walchak (Dan Walchak) of Mount Horeb, Wis. Additionally she had nine special great-grandchildren that will miss their Grandma Jo: Aaron, Elliana, Abigail, Serena, Mariah and Gracelyn Kmoch, Matilda and Virginia Walchak, and Edwin Bohlman-Wilson. She gave the best hugs and her smile and laugh will live on in our hearts forever!!
We love ya bunches mom!! We cannot wait to give you another huggie-huggie when we see you again!
A celebration of life will be held at NEW HOPE EVANGELICAL FREE CHURCH, 639 S. Eighth St., Mount Horeb, Wis., on Saturday, April 25, 2026. Greet the family from 10:30 a.m. until the start of the celebration at 11 a.m., where you are invited to share your memories of Joanne. We will gather in the lower level. Please park in the back parking lot and enter through the ground level doors.
