Jean will always be a part of my heart, her smile of kindness, her heart of gold. These she shared openly with me at Inglewood. Prayers and hugs to her at this trying time. Carey Andreas

Many wonderful talks with Jean. We had a lot of conversations just through glances and “eye rolls”. She had a grand sense of humor. Rest In Peace my friend.

I remember Jean sitting peacefully numerous times in Inglewood's hallway looking out the window watching people and traffic go by. She always had a smile with a greeting when I passed her in the hall. Many fond memories as she will be missed. God Bless! Liz Ashmore

Jean and Willy were next door neighbors and friends to my parents for many years. I treasure many yearly visits with them and my mother, Myrtle Weise. I was shocked to discover that Jean passed away just a couple of days after my oldest sister, Pearl Kvalheim, and that their funerals were on the same day. Roger Weise

Jean and my dad, Walter were not only business partners but they were best friends. Jean and Willy and my mom and dad traveled many, many times together. Often the travel was connected to a reunion event connect to Willy's military career. They all had such a wonderful time. Both Jean and Walter lost the love of their lives and spent many years as residents at Inglewood. They played cards and visited together almost daily. I would often join them for a few games of "Kings Corner" when I visited. When dad's health declined and he moved to Ingleside, Jean would visit daily and again we would play cards or visit when I stopped by. When cards were no longer enjoyable Jean would just visit dad and sit in his room....Jean's heart was made of gold! I loved Jean for all she did and was, as a person. I continued to visit Jean after my Dad passed and she always tried to stay positive. I now find I have a "hole" that can no longer be filled....you see Jean continued to be a connection to my parents even though both were gone. Her room was filled with remembrances that made her happy and she or I would refer to them during my visits. Jean kept notes about everything and her mind was so razor sharp! I loved to tease Jean because her smile and laugh would brighten my day just like it does when I look at this photo. God Bless you, Jean. You walk tall among the few. Brian Durtschi
