The Schlupps were neighbors of ours in Rockford in the 50's and 60's, and Randy and my brother, Bob, were good buddies. Imagine my surprise and gratitude, after not seeing Randy for so many years, when he attended my father's funeral in Cambridge, WI, in 2004! He took the time to talk to my mother and me at length, and we were so grateful. We always knew Randy was a great guy, and it was clear to us that day that his son, Britt. was at the center of Randy's world. No surprise to us that Randy was a wonderful Dad as well. Rest in peace, dear friend.

Randy was one of the most memorable patients I have ever had. He was sweet, calm, and fun as all get out. My condolences to Brit and every person Randy has ever touched. He certainly touched my life and I will never forget his strong presence. I know it’s my job to light up my patient’s day, but he did that for me every time I walked into his room. Rest In Peace Randy. -Jaime

Randy was such a kind person. He always wore a smile and was happy to stop and talk. He would help anyone in our neighborhood out when they needed it. He gathered everyone together for neighborhood burns and got everything organized - food, music, drinks. We had great superbowl parties at his house. He was always generous with his time and our neighborhood will miss him dearly. Love you Randy!

Randy was a beautiful soul. A once in this lifetime kind of soul. His time on this earth ended far too soon and he might have left us before we we're ready, but he never left us empty handed before his spirit moved on. He shared his beautiful caring heart and soul with each and every person that got a chance to meet him. Anyone who knows him knows that he always had this joy about him. A joy that seeped into everyone that he met. He wanted everyone to succeed and to know happiness. Wow! How many people have you met with such a loving and caring nature that exudes from their soul like that? He was a rare and beautiful soul and he touched the hearts and minds of so many. I am so grateful to have known such a a wonderful person in my lifetime. Randy's beautiful soul lives on in the hearts and minds of all of those that loved him. Especially in his son and best friend Britt. Britt never forget that your Dad is a part of you. You have so much love and greatness to share with this world. Stay true to the man that your Dad raised you to be and he will always be proud of you. This I promise. <3
