Oh, Larry, you will be missed. Although I didn't see you often through the years, every time I did was like when we were kids. You left a wonderful legacy in your children and grandchildren. Peace to you, cousin.

I met Larry in 1969 on the USS Pickaway. He and I became such very good friends. We shared so many laughs and serious moments together, that when I went off to Vietnam, I really missed the guy. We reconnected a decade or so ago and realized that our friendship hasn’t changed. Larry was the most honest and trustworthy friend that anyone could ask for. I’m so fortunate that our friendship lasted for almost 50 years. He loved his family as much as anyone that I have ever met, and I loved hearing about them. I’ll see you again buddy. Thanks Larry.
