For the morning sun and all it's glory. Meets the day with hope & comfort too. You fill my life with laughter, somehow you make it better. Ease my troubles that's what you do.
On November 3, 2018, Lori S. (Wind) Harper left this earthly life surrounded by love.
Her beloved family lifted her skyward:
-Life Partner, Dick Suehring of Portage
-Son, Kevin Harper & Renee and grandchildren, Noah & Ella of San Marcos, CA
-Son, Matt "Harvey" Harper & Caroline of Sun Prairie
-Sister, Randi Milsap & Jeff of Cambridge and nephew, Griffin of Baltimore, MD
-Sister, Kari Stroede & Dave of Augusta and nephew, Ian & Emma of Mill Creek, WA
She was walked home on November 3, 2018, by her mom, June Rose Wind and her dad, Randall Beryl Wind. She will be mourned by many because she lived life well. She befriended the creatures of the woods, just as she was a caring friend to all who were blessed to know her. She was life and laughter and goodness and kindness. She was joy. Oh wild one, you are now free to dance in the sunlight.
A celebration of the life of Lori Su (Wind) Harper will take place on her 63rd birthday, March 3, 2019, in Portage. Details will be posted later. Donations may be made in her memory to the American Cancer Society. May her loving memory be for a blessing.

I want to start with a story about my Lori...and how she made me laugh. Randi, Lori & I would meet for an annual antiquing trip. Lori was not as into "old stuff" as Randi & I....but she was always a good sport. One year I found her walking the aisles of the Columbus Antique Mall with a basket over her arm filled with the most horrible awful stuff, including a chimp with a rubber face. Of course, it was all to get a reaction from us (and other shoppers). That was my Lori. 💙 Oh how she will be missed!

Birthday parties, going to see Grandma Wind both families on Christmas Eve. Fireworks at the park . Our dad’s stories when they were togather and our moms talking in the kitchen. Just having girl cousins who had to wear dresses all the time. Silver coin from Great Aunt Pauline, I just got mutts. Knowing that you are with our parents and grandparents and they are so happy that your home. Rest now wild Lori you will always be apart of all of us forever. Love you to the moon and beyond! It is with great sadness and shock to learn of your passing. You will be missed sweet Lori. Always a smile on your beautiful face. So many fun, sweet memories. I had such a great visit with you at our Monona Grove 40th Class Reunion. You were such a sweet, kind, warm hearted person that was admired by everyone you met. You will never be forgotten.
