Donna Mae Brown

FITCHBURG-Donna Brown, age 88, of Fitchburg, passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 24, 2018, at Sylvan Crossing. She was born on March 10, 1930, in Madison, the daughter of Robert and Helen (Ward) Peschel. Donna graduated from Madison East High School. She married Carl Brown on June 4, 1949. Donna enjoyed being outside and working her garden. She was a hell of a cook and enjoyed spending time with the entire family, especially her grandchildren. Donna is survived by her husband, Carl; sons, Gary (Betsy) Brown and Scott Brown; daughter, Cathy (Jeff) Root; grandsons, Keith Brown, Patrick Root and Eric (Jennifer) Root; granddaughters, Kelly Brown (Rey Farias) and Colleen (James) Rio; great-granddaughter, Priscilla Rio; sister-in-law, Donna Georgeson; brother-in-law, Pete (Jill) Brown; and nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Richard (Lola) Peschel; sister and brothers-in-law, Adrene (Frank) Jenkins and Charlotte (James) Knap; and brothers-in-law and sister-in-law, Harold Georgeson and Lee (Alice) Brown.
