The volunteers, flight team and board of Badger Honor Flight mourn the loss of their hero, John Boyer. We are thankful for his military service and proud to have served him on his trip to Washington, D.C. on September 24, 2016.

Dearest Uncle Bill, so many years ago Nathan and Chris and I would spend long wonderful family days with you and Milly and the girls. I think we wore your Monopoly game to tatters. I have missed your easy, boisterous laugh, and now it will be missed by everyone. Especially Milly, which is where I’m sending all this love and these prayers right now.
