Dad I miss you so much. My heart is broken into a million pieces. The pain due to the loss of your love, guidance, care and presence in our daily loves is unbearable. We will forever cherish all of the wonderful memories of our lives with you. My wish is that you are resting peacefully knowing all that you accomplished and shared during your long life is being honored and that all the lives you have touched along the way are so much richer because of you. I love you Daddy.

I remember going to a dairy farm with Ed and other family members. It was October and freezing, but we still took the tour and got to milk a cow. We were back there (from warm California) for Heidi and Chris' wedding. I mentioned to Ed that I had always wanted to milk a cow. Since of course, we were in America's Dairyland, he graciously set up the tour for all of us. Fun was had by all. He and I loved talking about The Civil War as it was of great interest to both of us. Ed gave me a book about a young boy from Wisconsin who was in that war. It was then and still is a special gift that I will always cherish. God Bless You, Ed.

As a child in the neighborhood I remember Mr. Van Woelderen with such fondness. He was so kind and gentle. AND he was the first person I ever knew that played guitar- Cool! He will be sorely missed. Sending healing love and light to you all.
