MADISON - Mildred E. "Millie" Johnson, age 79, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 3, 2026. She was born on May 5, 1947, the daughter of Finnish immigrants Edward and Bertha Johnson.
Millie earned her Associate Degree in Business Administration and Accounting from Superior Technical Institute. She was an administrative assistant for the Department of Transportation.
An avid reader, Millie enjoyed a wide range of literary genres, from non-fiction to fiction. She was a devoted cat lover, with her most beloved companion being Ms. Indy. Millie was an active member of the Twin Valley Free Will Baptist Church in Middleton.
She is survived by her dear friends, Joan Yagla and Carol Rumberger. Millie was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Bertha Johnson.
