Genevieve Catherine Engel

I have so many memories, wonderful memories, of Gen it's hard to narrow it down. The most important to me is when, as a Greeter, Gen would welcome me to Church every week. She was there for me when my parents died, always. But as I entered the vestibule and hugged her every week, it was special. To those who wondered, she introduced me as her "other daughter." And she always knew she was my "other mother." I will miss you, Gen. Come visit! I love you! And to Kristi K and family, my heartfelt condolences. You're in my prayers and I love you too.

Gen was a very gracious lady. I met her many years ago when we were on jury duty together and became true friends remembering each other on birthdays and holidays. Our husbands passed within a week of each other. Truly a remarkable lady. She enjoyed everything she did. She kept busy. Helped so many. So many laughs, tears, smiles and memories that will last forever. My deepest sympathy and love . Sue Lawrence

I met Gen in 2012 and we became fast friends. This lovely lady will be greatly missed and in our hearts for ever. She is now with Bill and they are now walking together in the sunset of life. Be safe my friend. My sympathy is to Kristi and her family. God bless. Leslie Willison
