Hazel Marie Wunsch

Dear Family of Hazel, I am sorry for your loss of your Mother, Grandma and Great Grandma. You don't know me, but many, many years ago she was my "Tennis" partner for about 4 or 5 years. I guess we got too old. We were not real good, but enjoyed the exercise. We played in the "C" or "D" league against women 30 to 20 years younger than us and we still won over 1/2 our games. This was in about 1978 to 1983. Our daughter played #1 for South High and gave us some pointers. We rode our bikes to the matches. I remember her telling me about her husband and her cross country skiing and other activities with family.,,, The gas station on 9th and Michigan. I will always remember her and the fun we had. I was born in 1931 and married to my husband Gene May 29 1950 for 68 years. Hazel's friend,, Barbara Heller

She was one of the greatest of the greatest generation. Grandma w will always be one of the biggest influences on my current endeavors. I am so glad my daughter has happy memories of her. and when my wife told me "You have her eyes", casually, like it wouldn't be the best compliment I ever had....Miss you grandma, but can't feel sad for a life fully lived. my white dwarf in the night sky. -Aaron P.S. safety and stability achieved (as much as it can be in today's world), but the sanity can wait...i got need for the crazy right now.
