I first met Dave in High School when he transferred to Hillsboro High School (HHS)around 1957 or 58? He was a superb trombonist so we were in the same trombone section and enjoyed each others performing abilities and became friends. We played in the solo and ensemble contests, a trombone quartet, etc and sat next to each other in Concert band and other band ensembles. In 1960 we both worked at Neuman's Drive -In in Wis Dells. Hours were usually about 10 AM to 2 or 3 AM the next day. We had a small cabin across the street from the Drive-in, so all we did that summer was WORK! We had fun in spite of the hours.. Dave was a good buddy and a good man. He was passionate about music, Golf and a real sports fan. He has 3 fine sons which means he lives on with their memories and the memories he created with all those he knew. Safe journey Dave. You will be missed. Bill Richardson class of 1960 HHS
